- Use it when you must mount the probe through a very thick wall, a water-cooling jacket, or an adapter sleeve to reach the measurement point.
- Is the sensing performance affected by the longer body?
- No. The extended length is only the case. The internal coil and sensing tip are the same, ensuring identical performance to standard models.
Installation Considerations
- Does the long probe vibrate or resonate?
- When properly installed and fully threaded into a solid mount, it is very rigid. Ensure full thread engagement up to the 24mm maximum for stability.
- How do I handle and store this long probe safely?
- Keep it in its original packaging until use. Avoid placing heavy objects on it to prevent bending the long, slender case.
