Designed for unique installation challenges. This Bently Nevada 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe (Model 330709-000-230-50-11-05) features an exceptionally long 230mm case. It is ideal for reaching through thick insulation, casings, or deep mounts to sense shaft vibration directly.

• Connector: Connect by hand. Do not use tools.

What is the purpose of the 230mm case length?

It allows the probe to reach through deep cavities or insulation to get the sensing tip close to the target shaft, which is critical for accurate measurement.

Is the entire 230mm length threaded?

No. Only the first 24mm from the base is threaded for mounting. The remainder is a smooth, unthreaded barrel.

Can I use this long probe on any machine?

Only if you have a deep, clear path to the shaft. Ensure your mounting hole depth and internal clearances can accommodate the 230mm length.

Does the long case affect the vibration signal?

No, the sensing performance is identical to shorter probes. The case only provides mechanical reach.
