How does humidity impact this sensor’s performance?
Minimal impact. Testing shows less than 3% signal change after 8 weeks at 93% humidity. This makes the probe suitable for damp environments like paper mills or coastal plants.
What is the thread engagement limit, and why is it important?
Do not engage threads more than 0.563 inches. Exceeding this can damage the probe’s pressure seal or cause incorrect seating. Always measure your mounting hole depth.
Can the cable be replaced or repaired in the field?
No. The cable is permanently attached using the patented CableLoc process. This ensures high pull strength (330N) and reliability. If damaged, the entire probe must be replaced.
Is there a storage temperature limit for this probe?
The storage range is the same as operating: -52°C to +177°C. For long-term storage, keep in a dry, moderate environment. Avoid temperatures below -34°C to preserve seal integrity.
