- Connect L, N, and PE to the input terminals.
- Connect the load to the output terminals (+ and -).
- Use a 10 A circuit breaker (characteristic C) upstream.
- Adjust output voltage with the potentiometer if needed.
Debugging & Maintenance
- The green LED shows normal 24 V output.
- If LED is off, check input voltage and fuse.
- Short-circuit protection is constant current – remove fault to recover.
- Clean the unit with dry air – avoid liquids.
- No regular maintenance is required.
Compatibility
- Works with any load that needs 24 V DC, up to 20 A.
- Parallel up to 2 units for 40 A total.
- Suitable for PLCs, sensors, actuators, and drives.
- Compatible with SITOP extension modules (e.g., redundancy).
Expert Review
“The 6EP1336-1LB00 is a workhorse for 24 V systems. Its wide input range handles unstable grids well. The 92% efficiency keeps heat low. I trust it for critical machinery. A solid choice for any control panel.” – Senior Automation Specialist
Manager’s Insight
“This SITOP supply offers great value. It is easy to install and operates reliably in hot environments (up to 70 °C). The 20 A output is enough for most mid-size applications. We stock it for fast delivery.” – Product Manager, PowergearX

- Small DC motors and drives
- Test and measurement equipment
- Packaging and material handling machines
Professional FAQ
- What is the derating curve for this unit?
Full 20 A from -25 °C to +45 °C. Reduce by 2.5% per °C above +45 °C, up to +70 °C.
- Can I use it with a 110 V supply?
Yes, it works from 85 V AC. At 110 V, input current is about 5.5 A.
- Is the output isolated from the input?
Yes, full galvanic isolation. The output is SELV rated.
- How to connect multiple units in parallel?
Connect outputs in parallel (same voltage). Use up to 2 units. Ensure identical settings.
- What if the green LED is blinking?
This model has steady green for normal. Blinking may indicate overload or fault – check load and wiring.
Experience-based Q&A
- My unit trips the breaker on startup.
The inrush current can be high (45 A). Use a C-characteristic breaker (not B).
- Output voltage shows 22 V, not 24 V.
Adjust the potentiometer on the front. It can be set from 22.8 to 26.4 V.
- Can this unit run at full load in a closed cabinet?
Ensure 50 mm clearance top/bottom. For high ambient, derate or add forced cooling.
Selection Guide (Buying Tips)
- Check your total load current – stay under 20 A (or 16 A at 60 °C).
- For higher power, use two units in parallel (max 40 A).
- If your grid is unstable, the wide input range helps (85-264 V AC).
- For outdoor or wet areas, choose a higher IP rated supply.
- Always use the recommended MCB (10 A, C-curve) to avoid nuisance trips.
