Product details
Product Overview
- LDL200 is an ifm inductive conductivity sensor.
- It measures conductivity and temperature in liquids.
- It works without contact to the medium.
- This makes it ideal for hygienic CIP monitoring.
- The body is stainless steel 316L with PEEK wetted parts.
- It sends data by IO-Link or 4…20 mA.
- It is built for food, drink, and pharma lines.

FAQ
- Q: Can it read low-conductivity water?
- A: It starts at 100 µS/cm. For pure water below that, pick another sensor.
- Q: Does the sensor touch the liquid?
- A: No. The coil sits behind PEEK. The medium never meets metal electrodes.
- Q: How do I clean it safely?
- A: Run standard CIP cycles. PEEK and 316L handle common caustic and acid wash.
- Q: What happens on a long steam cycle?
- A: Keep steam above 100 °C under one hour. Longer heat shortens seal life.
- Q: Can I swap it into an old 4…20 mA loop?
- A: Yes. Set the analog output for conductivity or temperature. Keep load under 500 Ω.
