These are international explosion-proof certifications. They allow use in hazardous locations. Areas with flammable gases or dusts require this safety rating.
Is the FluidLoc feature different from standard sealing?
Yes. FluidLoc specifically blocks liquid travel inside the cable jacket. Standard seals protect the probe tip. FluidLoc adds extra protection along the entire cable path.
Why select the 4.5 inch case length?
The 4.5 inch (114mm) case is a common industry standard. It fits most typical mounting holes. Offers a good balance between strength and clearance.
Can this probe handle high-pressure applications?
The probe has a Viton® O-ring for differential pressure. It is not factory pressure tested. For critical pressure applications, contact us for special testing options.
