When should I choose this 4-inch penetration model?
Select this 24701-040 version for standard machinery applications. It is ideal where the probe does not need to reach deep into the casing.
What is the purpose of the included NPT plug?
The plug seals the unused conduit port. It prevents dust and moisture entry. This protects the internal 3300 XL 8mm probe.
Is the mounting thread ready to use?
Yes. The 02 suffix means it has standard 3/4-14 NPT threads. You can install it directly without extra machining.
How do I get support under the 12-month warranty?

This model has a 1m cable. What if I need a different length?
