• The probe is installed from the back of the housing. The tip points inward towards the machine shaft. This is the standard, protected mounting method.
• When do I need the 1.5-inch standoff adapter?
• Use it when you need to space the housing away from a curved surface, piping, or to improve accessibility for conduit connection.

Technical Specifications

• What does the “6.2 inch probe penetration” mean for installation?
• This is how far the probe tip extends from the housing’s mounting face towards the shaft. You must ensure your mechanical gap (air gap) is set correctly from this point.
• Can I see the probe’s part number (P/N) and serial number (S/N) after installation?
• No. In this configuration, the probe is inside the housing. The P/N and S/N are not visible without disassembly. Record them before installation.
