• Can I use the 3500/94M-07-12-01 with any VGA monitor?
  Yes. The Router Box sends VGA video and RS232 touch signals. You can connect a standard industrial VGA monitor. For touch to work, the monitor must support RS232 touch.
• What is the maximum distance between Router Box and display?
  The included cable is 20 ft (6m). For longer distances you need a third‑party VGA extender (not included).
• Is the Router Box approved for Class I Div 2 areas?
  The Receiver part is approved for Class I Div 2. The Transmitter (inside Router Box) must stay in a safe area or a purged enclosure. Refer to the KVM notes in the datasheet.
• I need a 15″ display with Div 2 approval – which model fits?
  This 3500/94M-07-12-01 works with the Advantech 15″ (FPM-8151). The display itself is NOT Div 2 certified. For Div 2 you would need the 10″ display version (3500/94M-04‑00‑02) or place the 15″ in a safe area.
• The remote screen shows “no signal”. What should I check?
  First verify the Router Box has power (green OK LED). Then check that the 20‑ft cable is firmly connected at both ends. Finally ensure the 3500/94M I/O module is seated correctly in the rear slot. The cable is often accidentally loosened during cabinet work.
