• What applications need an 8.4-inch probe penetration?
• This is used when the measurement point (shaft) is located deep within a machine casing, bearing housing, or behind other structures. The longer sleeve reaches to the correct location.
• Why does this kit only include a plug (Fitting Option 04)?
• Option “04” is for simple setups. It assumes you only need to seal one unused conduit port on the housing. You supply your own cable seal or fitting for the other port.

• Can I mount this housing flush against my equipment?
• Yes. The “-00” for standoff means it is designed for direct mounting. Ensure your mounting surface has a compatible 3/4-14 NPT female thread.
• Is the 0.5-meter internal cable long enough for my cabinet?
• This short cable is only for inside the housing. Your system’s main triaxial cable connects to the housing’s internal terminal block. The 0.5m length is standard and sufficient.
